REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATORS

The Atef regulated reactive power compensators (RPC) of 0.4 kV and 10 (6.0) kV allow to avoid production stoppages and the costly process of the restart procedures. RPC equipment is widely used in industrial distribution systems to smooth out transient processes caused by the connection of renewable energy sources.

The use of reactive power compensators allows to reduce power losses, the voltage drop in various parts of the power grid, the amount of reactive energy in the distribution network, the cost of paying for the consumed electrical energy, to correct phase asymmetry and to reduce the impact of network interference on the operation of equipment.
